Welcome

We are Inclusive Churches welcoming all regardless of age, gender, background, ethnicity, disability or sexuality. We take pride in being progressive in our support for the inclusion of all people in the Church of God – gay or straight, male or female, black or white, old or young. The Gospel is good news for all people; it is liberation, freedom from oppression and joyful fellowship with each other. Here in our parishes we will welcome you and we work to promote the Church as a place of welcome for all.

Please note that at the moment St James Church is undergoing extensive restoration work and we are worshipping in the hall until July. The works in St James are exciting – we are going to be running the local Post Office, a café and stationary shop, with a children’s play gym called Hullabaloo as part of a new vision for the life of the Church in our community. We hope to open in early July and the new St James will be an exciting and innovative place to visit and worship. Our Church will continue as Church, with a new mission and heart. Please see our blog spot for further information and regular updates:

On these pages you will find information about the times of our services, details of how to contact us and you will also, hopefully, gain a feeling for the life of our Christian community.

West Hampstead and Kilburn are exciting and occasionally challenging places to live. This is our home and our Christian faith helps us make sense of living here.

We invite you both to explore these pages and to join us in celebrating the love of God active in this community.

If you like what you see, come along to one of our services and meet us.

We are also proud of our links to St Mary’s CE Primary School, Quex Road, which many of our children attend.  See St Mary’s CE Primary School website for more information.
