The first pictures here show the clock in its pre-restoration state – complete with antique pigeon droppings.
Picture three is of the electric movement that drove the clock hands from about 1950 till the present resoration.
The newly restored clock is housed in a beautiful new oak display case to keep the dust off – new netting to the windows keeps out the pigeons but lets the sound of the clock and bell carry to the community.
